India wins 18 Gold medals and total 81 medals in Asian Games

India has been improving in World events, especially, sport events. Common Wealth Games, Asian Games and Olympics have seen weak returns for Indian athletes. Now, India has decided to groom as many diverse athelets as possible to win medals in athletic events. Boxing, Squash, Badminton, Hockey, Shooting events have mostly been medal-guarantee for India. Now, other athletic events like rally racing, equestrian and newly added Cricket events are also contributing.
This has resulted in India winning more medals than ever. Team has won 81 medals by end of Day 11 and this is highest ever for India in Asian Games. Last time in 2018, India won 70 medals in Jakarta. It has been highest ever and now, with 81, India is looking to cross 100 for the first time. In the overall medals tally, India is in fourth position with 18 Gold, 31 Silver and 32 Bronze medals.

On Day 11, 4*400 M relay track racing team has created history for India by winning first ever Gold, in the event. Later, Neeraj Chopra has won gold again for India in Javelin Throw. He alleged that China tried to disqualify him but he had to throw 7 times, still won the medal for his nation. Post Olympics and Common Wealth Games, Neeraj Chopra has made his presence felt with Hanzghou Asian Games 2022 Gold in World sport. Well, it would be great to see further if India will stand on “Abki Baar 100 Paar” slogan by the end of the tournament.
